A Good News Story
My name is Oscar, I am 18 and alongside my 16 year old brother Leo, after having our A Level and GCSE exams cancelled this year, we have used the time to create a new company ‘Bargain Bubbles’. When our SodaStream ran out during lockdown, we were struggling to find a service that gives a fair price with simple delivery options, so we decided to create our own, where we offer a low price with same day delivery. Not only does this give people a constant supply of sparkling water over quarantine, but there are additional environmental benefits with our business.
Unlike purchasing sparkling water in single use plastic bottles, our exchange service means provides a big saving for the environment with no unnecessary extra packaging. In addition to this, I deliver every CO2 refilled bottle on my motorbike which is very fuel

efficient, and an exchange system allows these bottles to be reused minimising waste. My brother, involved in the creation of the website and business, is hoping to get an electric motorbike in the coming months, reducing our carbon footprint with Bargain Bubbles even further.
Taking all safety precautions, we have begun delivering refilled CO2 bottles during lockdown, we take an empty bottle from our customers to reuse as part of an exchange system
Our website is www.bargainbubbles.co.uk. We are based in Hassocks but deliver to Brighton and Hove, Shoreham, Worthing, Hassocks and Hurstpierpoint, Ditchling, Haywards Heath and Lewes.
