Talbot Rothwell OBE

In the 1950’s Talbot Rothwell became a movie screenwriter and his many films included Is Your Honeymoon Really Necessary? (1953) Don’t Blame the Stork (1954) and Stars in Your Eyes (1956). In the 1960’s Talbot wrote many of the scripts for the Carry On films and the Carry On TV Christmas specials in which Peter Butterworth was among the regular cast. He lived at 41 Kings Walk Shoreham By Sea and died on the 28th February 1981 at the age of 64.
