A DISTRAUGHT 71-yearold grandmother who has spent years seeking compensation for her damaged kitchen has been deemed a “potentially violent” threat by Southwark Council. Rose Neale was forced to spend her entire life’s savings repairing her council home’s
kitchen when it was damaged by a leak. She has been trying in vain to get reimbursed since 2012, but to no avail. After years of frustration, she recently swore while speaking to a housing officer, prompting the warning from the council - who said that they fear for the safety of their staff.
