Okay, so like me, did putting gas in your vehicle, or hooking up to an EV station come to your mind first when you thought about the term ‘refuel’ that we are studying this month? I must admit that was my first jumping-off point.

As I toiled with various biblical examples and characters seeing how GOD had refueled them in varying areas of their experiences, Holy Spirit guided my thought process here as I peered into His and my relationship. Hopefully, you enjoy and grasp this wonder given to me from the book of devotions, Jesus Always, by Sarah Young:

“I AM Your Living Lord, your Rock, your Savior-God. Spend time pondering My greatness and My endless commitment to you. You live in a culture where vast numbers of people are leery of making commitments. Even those who say “I do” often change their minds later and leave. I, however, Am your forever-Friend and eternal Lover of your soul. You are utterly secure in My Love!

Instead of focusing on troubles in your life and in your world, remember who I Am. Not only am I your living Lord and unchanging Rock, but I am also God your Savior. Because I am the everlasting God, my death on the cross for your sins saves you to the uttermost! So you don’t need to worry that I’ll stop loving you because your performance isn’t good enough. It is My goodness and My righteousness that keeps you secure in My Love.

Let my unending commitment to you be a comfort as you journey through this trouble-filled world. Someday you will live with Me in paradise.”

“TheLordlives! Praise to my Rock!

May the God of my salvation be exalted!” (Psalm 18:46 NLT)

“Therefore He is able also to save forever (completely, perfectly, for eternity) those who come to God through Him since He always lives to intercedeandintervene on their behalf [with God].” (Hebrews 7:25 AMP)

“He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness].” (II Corinthians 5:21 AMP)

Thank You, Abba-Father, for this great revelation of Your Wisdom showing us how to see You and Your works in each and every aspect of our lives! Thank You, Father, for Your Patience with us as evidenced in Your Word, and as sealed in Christ’s constant shepherding of us! Thank You, Jesus Christ, for refueling, re-energizing, refocusing us on Who You Are, and What You are doing for and with us daily! Hallelujah!
