WOW!

The children have looked brilliantly smart and stylish in their cricket whites this term and have very much enjoyed their matches. We have already qualified for two county finals in tennis too which is mightily impressive, particularly for a small school like ours. Our riding girls also did themselves proud at Hickstead after much hard work and hours of training.

Steam Engine Opening

It was wonderful to welcome so many parents and friends of South Lee Prep & Nursery to the opening event for our new STEAM Engine. We were treated to a variety of STEAM activities whilst sampling nibbles cooked in the Food Technology room! There was plenty going on with coding and robotics in the Innovation Lab; electronics and Lego challenges in the Science Lab, mindful art projects, maths challenges in the wellbeing hub and fun in the new plant room. It was a fantastic evening - thank you to all involved.

Nursery Swans were lucky enough to visit the glider that was brought into school by Mrs T's father for our STEAM Engine Opening. They imagined what it would be like to fly in it as well as compare the wing span to other things they know about. Fantastic!

On Coronation weekend, we enjoyed a visit from King Charles. Mr M welcomed him to the school before he was taken on a whistlestop tour of the site by the children.
