A royal celebration in South Kesteven

Our, communities came together to mark the Coronation of His Majesty, King Charles III and Her Majesty, The Queen Consort.

As well as a concert at Windsor Castle, events across the country united friends, families and communities over the special Coronation weekend.

Hundreds of events took place between Saturday 6 and Monday 8 May across South Kesteven.

Cllr Rhea Rayside, Cabinet Member and even the chance to tuck into an afternoon tea fit for a King.

To commemorate the Coronation for years to come, some of the younger generation were presented with commemorative bookmarks, medals and coins to mark the occasion.

As well as food, drink and music, families from across the District have took part in arts and crafts, games and activities to celebrate with their community.
