LADIES TOURNAMENT

Dear Members,

F r o m t h e B

As we approach October and the holiday season, I find myself reflecting on how blessed we are amidst the challenges our world faces. It’s truly a privilege to be part of the vibrant culture at South Hills, where the bond and love we share enrich our lives. We've come a long way, allowing us to enjoy pleasant moments whether it’s a delightful round of golf or a wonderful dinner with loved ones, celebrating our connections is a beautiful experience

I feel truly honored to be surrounded by such knowledgeable board members, who genuinely care about the long-term success of our club and the welfare of our children and grandchildren. Your dedication to the game of golf and to our community is inspiring, and for that, I express my deepest gratitude.

As we look forward to the upcoming holidays, I wish everyone health, happiness, and continued strength at South Hills Country Club Let’s make it our mission to remain stronger than ever.

Thank you once again for your passion and commitment.

Warm regards,

G e n e r a l M a n a g e r

BLUE CREW!!! TEAM CAMERON IS

VICTORIOUS!

How September came and went in the blink of an eye. The adage of time flies when your having fun is so true. In the month of September, we had a couple of our summer events wrap up. Couples Twilight had its final night, the Ladies finished their presidents cup, hosted a fall team play, and began Swing for the Cure. We rounded out the month with our men ’ s South Hills Cup.

Congratulations to Team Cameron, Captain Nate England and Co-Captain Nick Chavez on their victory over Team Citrus.

We look forward to October with hopefully cooler temperatures. October has several events. The ladies will finish their Swing for the Cure, Derby Day, and round out the month with Halloween guest day.

We will also be having our men ’ s Tres Dias Tournament, October 17-20. The course will be closed for the event the 18-20 and reciprocal times will be available 1 week in advance.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the club!

The Course

Another hot and busy Summer has come to an end. We survived the heat, and the golf course came through it well. That can only be accomplished with a staff that is dedicated to serving the members and a good plan. We endured many irrigation challenges throughout the Summer These include broken and leaking pipe, sprinkler heads and valves. We also had issues with our pump stations delivering the water We did our best to provide the best possible conditions through these difficulties. Another accomplishment was the completion of the new fence and plantings along Citrus at #9 and the Halfway House. The maintenance crew was part of moving the irrigation heads, installing the plants and installing new irrigation. This was a great accomplishment, and I believe it turned out great Fall has arrived but there is no slowing down. The greens have been aerified and it is time for tournament preparations We have a few more big tournaments this year and we look forward to creating a great golf course for the members and their guests

Food & Beverage

Join us for dinner as we unveil the chef's exciting new Sunday Comfort menu on October 13! Plus, our Brunch menu will feature delightful new items that are sure to please. We can’t wait to welcome you and share these delicious offerings!
