Summer is here and there is something for everyone. The pool is open and our sharks will be competing against other clubs in the Sunkist League. There is Pickleball or Tennis and of course golf - on our great and in super condition golf course. This month we will be holding the Billy Bell Tournament, which is an extremely popular event. Our Friday Stag Days are always enjoyable.
Our annual Golf Fest was held in June. This event took place over three days with the club crowning a gross club champion Mike Murphy on Sunday at the annual BBQ. There were many other winners at this event and for the first time in recent years, a ladies club champion Robin Edwards was recognized during the festivities. The women played their three day tournament on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Congratulations to all the winners and participants.
The board of directors and committees continue to work towards the betterment of the club. They are making every effort to keep South Hills a location destination for our members and their families and friends . It is important to remember that when we are at South Hills we should respect our fellow members and staff and act in a manner that will please all. We have a great reputation and we should strive to keep it that way.
This will be my fourth time serving on the board. I have always enjoyed the duty. I want all our members to feel free to stop me and ask questions I might not have the answer at the moment, but will do my best to get an answer to your question.

SUNKIST LEAGUE FINALS RETURNS TO SOUTH HILLS CC!
For the first time since 2017, The Sunkist League Swim and Dive Finals will return to South Hills CC July 18th – 20th.We are expecting over 300 to 500 families over the three days with every logistical measure being taken to ensure a wonderful summer season conclusion. We will have food and beverage concessions in 4 locations specifically for the event that will be running all three days.
This will be a first that the SHCC Service Staff as none of us were employed at South Hills the last time we hosted the season-ending extravaganza. The Youth Activities Committee has been diligently working on this for over a year. Planning the layout, timing, and execution of the largest event SHCC has ever seen.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our deepest gratitude to the Youth Activities Committee for their commitment, foresight and hard work in putting this all together. The efforts of the Youth Activities Committee are a true testament to the committee driven culture that makes South Hills Country Club the amazing Club it is.

Summertime is finally here! We have made it through the overcast mornings and now have plenty of sunshine We look forward to a summer of golf and some great events coming up July brings us the Ladies Flag Day, Men’s Billy Bell, along with wine n nines and couples twilight
Congratulations to all of our Club Champions in June We were able to celebrate the men ’ s and women ’ s club champions in the same week Mike J Murphy took home is third club championship Dan Edwards took home the senior victory, while Tom Reh won the super Seniors
Congratulations to Robin Edwards on winning her first Club Championship. This was also the first time she had competed in the event.
We also crowned our WNG champions at the end of June. Congratulations to John Brittina IV and Mike Siemsen on taking home the victory this year.
