Logo Launch

We wanted you - our glorious community - to be the first to hear about our new logo. We're so excited to launch a logo that represents the links we hold between you - our community of Parent Carers - and the strategic planners / decision makers (the local authority, health services and local service providers).

Over the last 12 years we have worked tirelessly to prove ourselves as so much more than just a group of mums wanting to vent and seek change. We have proved that SGPC is an invaluable addition to any planning or scrutiny team and we've done that by collating views from our Parent Carers across South Glos, and sharing their views (at over 200 meetings in the last year alone!).

Our new colours (which we've been slowly introducing over the last couple of months) are more vibrant to convey the energy of the team and passion of our parent carers. We also felt it was important to ensure that they had an overall uplifting effect - as no doubt we've all felt those moments of overwhelm and needed a little sense of joy and positivity.

This new logo depicts the balance of knowledge and importance of the three elements that work in together to participate, collate, scrutinise, inform, and ultimately shape the services provided for our families:

* Parent Carers

* SGPC

* Local authority, health services & local providers

Without you, we would be nothing. Collating your views, sharing them and working to shape great services for our families is why we are here. Thank you! We hope you love our fresh, new look as much as we do.

Finally, keep an eye on your inbox for SGPC News - our new termly newsletter. It's a handy round up of everything you need to know about your local community news for Parent Carers - including a Summer Survival Kit!
