This term, the talented pupils of 5 Vivaldi and 5 Beethoven are delighted to present “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” This enchanting comedy by William Shakespeare transports us to a mystical woodland and the court of Athens. The play weaves together the stories of young lovers caught in the whimsical disputes of the fairy king and queen, Oberon and Titania. Meanwhile, a band of amateur actors, the Mechanicals, prepare a play for the wedding of Duke Theseus and Hippolyta. As the realms of humans and fairies intertwine, expect a delightful mix of mistaken identities, magical love potions, and uproarious misunderstandings.
