The Alabama Sigmas convened in Mobile, AL for their 2023 Alabama State Conference from April 13- 26, 2023. During the conference, they held a job fair that welcomed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the US Park and Recreation as well. On Friday evening, they held the Collegiate Step Show where the Gamma Beta Chapter will move on to compete in the Southern Regional Step Show On Saturday evening, they have the Miss Phi Beta Sigma – Alabama Pageant The pageantwaswonbyScottariaScottfromTuskegeeUniversity Sheservesalsoas the Beta Kappa chapter Miss Phi Beta Sigma, and she will go on to compete for Southern Regional Miss Phi Beta Sigma As they concluded the state conference, one brother was selected to be nominated to the Outstanding Sigmas of the Southern Region. Bro. Kevon Chesson of the Alpha Eta Sigma Chapter in Montgomery, AL is the brother that was selected for OSSR. He also serves as the Alabama State Secretary and is a Gold Life Member.
