Icon Award Recipient Born October 10th, a real project baby in Lafayette, IN to an abusive father and a naive mother that was unaware of the ill will in the streets of Indiana and Kentucky!!! At the age of 13 I had to take responsibility for myself and my 2 younger sisters!!! THEREFORE, I CLEANED UP OUR APARTMENT WITH THE HELP OF MY AUNT ELAINE WHO WAS LATER TRAGICALLY KILLED IN ATLANTA GA BY HER NEW BOYFRIEND!!! Once we got organized I began to shine as a football player, which lead me to become an All-American running back and linebacker at Paducah Tilghman High School! I then earned a SCHOLARSHIP FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY TO CONTINUE MY ATHLETIC CAREER!!! The best thing about college at UK I WAS ABLE TO GRADUATE WITH MY MASTERS DEGREE IN SOCIAL WORK WITH A STUNNING 3.77 GPA!!! Once I completed my masters degree I was hired on at the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA AS AN ACADEMIC COACH AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR. WHICH LED ME TO THE MORTGAGE BUSINESS AND THE NEW CAR BUSINESS IN WHICH IM STILL ABLE TO HELP PEOPLE GET DISCOUNTED PRICES ON NEW HELLCATS AND DEAMONS!!! CURRENTLY I AM SOUTH CAROLINA'S #1 INDIE ARTIST DJ and CLUB DJ ACCORDING TO SCUMA THE SOUTH CAROLINA UNDERGROUND MUSIC AWARDS DIVISION and THE SOUTHERN PLUG MUSIC AWARDS!!! My future prospects are bright I’m looking to help artist get paid for their murzik and performances!!! I AM COMMITTED TO SC & KY INDIE ARTIST ON GOD!!!
Legend Award Recipient DJ Bam has been apart of every successful gentlemen's club in SC (Columbia especially) since 1999. He has been crowned the "Strip Club Kingpin" and he takes that title very seriously. He started at Pure Passion GC, where he honed his hosting skills. From there he has rocked every strip club that called him in, including the world famous Fantasy Island where he called home for nearly a decade. When he is in the booth, the dancers are ALWAYS his #1 priority. He loves to see them make as much money possible. He always show the customers love and try to play every single song requested. Like he did for an up and coming T.I. in the early 2000's where he was the first DJ to break his debut single "I'm Serious" in the strip club per his request. DJ Bam is one of the few djs that actually spin indy artist's music in his rotation. From a young rapper named T.I. to my good friend Al Biggz , I constantly look and listen out for the big thing especially in SC, says DJ Bam. His legacy in the clubs are a testament to his love for the craft and his love for good music.

In the tradition of the Mississippi Delta Bluesmen, THE Dubber confronts the world with only his words and a guitar. The self- taught singer/songwriter continues to reinvents himself by infusing musical styles for over 30 years. America's Rock, Jazz and Funk, flavored by the international sounds of Reggae, Armenian Music and Afro Beat, is the complex stew that helps him express his blues and completes such a distinctive sound.Since 2005, the Washington DC born / South Carolina based artist has been trailblazing around the world with an honest and intimate stage show. His sophisticated one man band guitar style and universal message of Oneness, keeps THE Dubber booked year round. Always a crowd favorite, he has played prestigious event and venues such as South by Southwest Music Conference, Mid-Atlantic Music Conference and the South Carolina State Museum. With radio airplay, multiple tours here and abroad, plus three albums "In the Temple of..." 2005, "Global Warning" 2010 and his latest “Cleaning Up The Dirty South" 2014 under his belt. The South Carolina Arts Commission grant recipient “2014 One Time Project Grant” and “2017 Horizon Underserved Grant”, is feeling very optimistic about his continuing musical journey.
