ARRESTED! Young Thug Arrested on Gang-Related Charges Young Thug was arrested Monday afternoon in Georgia on gang-related charges, according to online jail records. The “Go Crazy” rapper, legal name Jeffery Lamar Williams, is accused of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and participation in criminal street gang activity. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the RICO act charge comes from an alleged offense committed in January 2013, while the gang activity charge is from an alleged May 2018 incident. Atlanta police also hit Young Thug with additional charges following a May 9 raid of his Buckhead, Georgia home, Fulton County Jail records revealed. Those charges include possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, 4

possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, “Possession Of Sawed-Off Shotgun, Sawed-Off Rifle, Machine Gun, Dangerous Weapon, Or Silencer,” as well as several other counts related to gang activity. Young Thug’s arrest comes in the wake of a 56-count grand jury indictment reviewed by Rolling Stone filed in Georgia’s Fulton County that names 28 members or associates of the YSL “criminal street gang” — including fellow rapper Gunna, legal name Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, who is also charged with one count of conspiring to violate RICO. In a statement shared with Rolling Stone Tuesday, May 10, Williams’ Lawyer, Brian Steel, said, “Mr. Williams was taken into custody upon execution of the arrest warrant and he was cooperative in his dealings with law enforcement at all times. Mr. Williams remains in custody while efforts are being made to secure his pretrial release on bond. Mr. Williams vehemently denies the allegations lodged against him and he looks forward to the opportunity to defend this case in court. We will fight this case ethically, legally and zealously. Mr. Williams will be cleared.” At a press conference Tuesday, Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat confirmed that Kitchens was not yet in custody, but said he had spoken to the rapper’s representatives. “We’re making arrangements as much as he had representatives call me last night directly,” Labat said. “So we’ll motor through that and let you know.” Representatives for Gunna have not responded to requests for comment from Rolling Stone. Officials state YSL — of which Young Thug is identified as a founding member — “claims affiliation with the national Bloods gang.” (The YSL enterprise operates under the name “Young Slime Life,” but also shares the same initials as the 30-year-old rapper‘s Young Stoner Life Records imprint.) Prosecutors claim the named defendants “conspired to associate together and with others for the common purposes of illegally obtaining money and property through a pattern of racketeering activity.” The 88-page indictment charges Young Thug is both directly and indirectly associated with a slew of criminal activity, ranging from armed robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon to murder. In February of this year, two YSL associates asked Young Thug for “permission” to “make a second attempt to murder” Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci while he was incarcerated at Fulton County Jail awaiting trial for murder, the indictment states. According to Complex, Lucci was stabbed at the facility on February 9 — an attack prosecutors claim was perpetrated by YSL associates. The Grammy Award-winner is also accused of renting 2014 Infiniti Q50 sedan later “used in the commission of the murder” of rival gang member Donovan Thomas, Jr. on Jan. 10, 2015. Roughly two weeks after Thomas’ murder, prosecutors claim Young Thug boasted about the incident in a video posted to social media, stating “so a n—a lie to they momma, lie to they kids, lie to they brothers and sisters then get right into the courtroom and tell the God’s honest truth, don’t get it, y’all n—-s need to get fucking killed bro, from me and YSL.” Fulton County officials claim Young Thug was in regular communication with Kyle Oree, a leader of the Blood-affiliated Sex Money Murder street gang, stating in one conversation “sacrifices must be made, soldiers must fall in order for battle to be won.” Young Thug’s social media posts were also submitted into evidence, with prosecutors stating a photo of the Atlanta native “wearing red clothing, and flashing a YSL gang hand sign” is “an overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy.” The document also contains a screenshot of a March 9 photo of Young Thug and Gunna from the latter’s Instagram account captioned “slatt business, YSL4L” — “slime love all the time” and “Young Slime Life for life” — acronyms prosecutors state are commonly used by the YSL syndicate.Atlanta’s WSB-TV reports Young Thug’s will make his first court appearance Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. Steel told the news network at the time of the arrest that the rapper “committed no crime whatsoever” and that he would “fight to my last drop of blood to clear him.” This arrest marks yet another brush with law enforcement for 5 the chart-topping rapper.

So, Jermaine tell our readers that may not be familiar with you or your work just who you are and what it is that you do exactly. Well I’m an actor coming out of Columbia SC… I’ve been acting for about 4yrs now, I’ve work on a couple independent films that’s on YouTube title “Successful”, “Let The Beat Build” and Faith For Christmas… I have some films I’m in on Tubi as well title “Trap Flix Party”, “Suga Babies”, and “Lilith’s Ball”… Just trying to take this thing to the next level…. 2. So, what inspired you to start your journey as an actor? I’ve always dream of being on TV I love watching movies and TV series… Growing up I use to make people laugh by acting out certain scenes from movies and everyone use to tell me I should be in a movie all the time…. So I start looking around to see who was doing any local filming where I’m from… Started out just being an extra in the background too starring in my first film and just been working since… 3. Man of The Year? How and when were you coined as such and how do you feel that title fits you? Well that phrase came from the director Felicia Rivers as she was writing the film. But I feel the title fits me because around that time last year I was on a roll filming back to back so you can say I was feeling like the “Man Of The Year” lol…. 4. So, on to the new mega hit movie! How was it co-starring alongside the beautiful and talented Nikki Natural? Aw man…it was a blessing man. Her presents is everything! She really did her thing I can’t complain...

5. I mean I met Nikki briefly and she seemed cool but of course it was during a club appearance so one can never know if that's the real her. But you were actually on set with her working alongside her, so I guess my question is how is she really? She was cool very professional she came ready knowing her lines and delivered them very well I wouldn’t mind working with her again some day… 6. What was your favorite part about filming this movie and how do you feel it connects with you personally? My favorite part was just working with some professional actors who been filming for years, so watching and learning from them was a blessing I was trying too soak up as game as I could to my acting to the next level….The connection that I had with the character personally was the women… I feel like most men wants to live like bachelor before they get married lol 7. So what’s next for the “Man of the Year? Exploring any new sides to your artistry. I don’t know, maybe rapping lol? Lol I use to do music when I was in high school… Who knows I may pick back up the pen one day but for now I’m just focused on acting for now…. 8. Is there something in specific that you want people to know about you or your art? I’m very passionate about my talent or anything I get into and you will see that when you watch the films I’m in and that Im here too inspirer others… 9. Ok we do this every interview! DJ WildChild also known by his full name 'Alexander Gort' was born in Miami, Florida but raised in Lake Placid, Florida. DJ WildChild originally started his craft to become a DJ back in 2005 but began to take it more seriously when he met Cedric Brown in 2009. (CEO of Wil'in Entertainment) Alexander started as a promoter and ended up becoming the main DJ for the company. DJ Wildchild has been called to several travel events, one in particular called 'SET Network'. In 2012 he began to start doing Carnival Cruises up to three events in a year. Alex is also apart of multiple other events such as Essence Festival and Urban Ski Weekend. He has traveled to many locations in the past nine (9) years to fulfill events. Step 1: Establish your eligibility : The very first step is making sure a Performing Rights Organization (PRO) can process your application. In order to be eligible, you need to have an official release or broadcast of a song you represent (either your own or someone else’s). The song could be part of a proper record, CD, or digital release; the soundtrack of a motion picture; or a television/radio broadcast. Step 2: Create a name: Every publishing company must have a unique name. Be sure to pick one that will suit your goals and be your calling card when you’re pitching music to potential radio plays and TV or film placements. Ask yourself a simple question: Is it descriptive, appropriate, and memorable? Step 3: Register as a business: When you open a business under a name other than your own, you need to register that DBA (“Doing Business As”) name with your Secretary of State or the Office of the Secretary in Washington, D.C. This will enable you to open a business banking account and request a Federal Tax ID number, among other things. You’ll have several options as to which type of business you’re registering. Typical options include a sole proprietorship, partnership, or corporation. We strongly urge you to do your homework and address this question in advance so you’re able to find the business type that best suits your needs. Step 4: Open a bank account: As a registered business, you’ll need to pay taxes on your income. In order to stay on top of your finances and account for your earnings properly — as well as making sure you receive everything you’re entitled to — you’ll want to dedicate a bank account to your publishing business. Step 5: Choose a PRO and submit your application as a publisher: You'll need to join a collection society as a music publisher. If you’re already affiliated with one as a songwriter, you’ll want to apply it to your publishing company as well. If you’re not yet affiliated, take some time to familiarize yourself with all the options that are out there. ASCAP and BMI are the major PROs in the United States; SESAC is only open by invitation. If you plan to have multiple songwriter clients of your publishing company, and not just yourself, you will need to set up publishing affiliations with all the U.S. PROs, because in order to publish works by a songwriter registered with one of the U.S. PROs, you must have a publishing company registered with that PRO. This restriction does not apply to songwriters outside of the U.S.: you can publish a songwriter affiliated with any global PRO using any of your U.S. PRO affiliations. I.e., If you’re affiliated with ASCAP, you cannot use that affiliation to register songs for a songwriter client who is affiliated with BMI, but you can use your ASCAP affiliation to register songs for a songwriter client who is affiliated with GEMA (Germany). Step 6: Register your company's songs with the Copyright Office (optional): Registering with the U.S. Copyright Office is not required, but if someone infringes upon your work you’ll have better legal protection. This can be done online and typically takes a few months to process. If you have already copyrighted songs in your own name, you’ll need to transfer those rights to your publishing company. Step 7: Register with U.S. Mechanical Rights Organizations: The final step is to contact The MLC, The Harry Fox Agency, and Music Reports, and register as a publisher. This is done in addition to registering with a collection society. The difference is that these mechanical organizations issue and collect royalties from the mechanical licenses issued for streaming, downloads, and CDs and other physical music. They do not deal with performance royalties.
