Public Safety Telecommunicator and to establish an eligibility list for future employment. Duties include answering phones and radios, evaluating information, prioritizing and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls. Shift work is required which includes evenings, weekends and holidays. Starting minimum salary: $26.02/ hr. Probation Services Director
Freeborn County is seeking a Probation Services Director. This position leads a department of 15 staff, including probation, truancy, STS coordinator, support and veterans court staff. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years in the field of Corrections and understand evidence-based practices in the field. He/she must hold at least a BS degree in Corrections, Law Enforcement or a related field. The Director reports to the Court, presents budgets to the County Board, does grant reporting at both federal and state levels and attends meetings and trainings throughout the state. The position would start approximately October 1st, 2025.
