The Office Support Specialist, DHS, position is responsible for performing a variety of diverse and complex clerical tasks that require attention to precision and accuracy. Duties involve the application of some limited judgment in carrying out the job requirements, however, office routines governing tasks are in place and established. Duties include data entry, substantial customer relations, and service activities which involve the application of various regulations, rules, and department routines that must be applied in a precise and accurate manner. Additional duties include maintenance of department records, transcriptions, receptionist support, maintain statistical reports, and gathers data needed for various department forms and reports. Sheriff’s Office 911 / I.T. Specialist
Under general supervision of the Information Technology Supervisor, this position supports the mission of the Freeborn County IT Department by providing technology consulting, systems implementation, and technology support services to the Sheriff’s Office and other County departments to ensure services operate smoothly and efficiently. The Sheriff’s Office 911 / IT Specialist primarily supports the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office - while also managing IT projects in other County departments as needed. It serves as a general technology consultant, supporting the Sheriff’s Office with strategic IT planning and identifying opportunities for process improvements and technology enhancements. The position also supports technical troubleshooting and works closely with Sheriff’s Office and IT staff to ensure timely resolution of issues and smooth integration with County systems.

PROBATION SERVICES DIRECTOR
Freeborn County is seeking a Probation Services Director. This position leads a department of 15 staff, including probation, truancy, STS coordinator, support and veterans court staff. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years in the field of Corrections and understand evidencebased practices in the field. He/she must hold at least a BS degree in Corrections, Law Enforcement or a related field. The Director presents budgets to the County Board, does grant reporting at both federal and state levels and attends meetings and trainings throughout the state. Salary range $99,857$133,150 depending on qualifications.
