THANK YOU FOR GARDENING.

After thoughtful consideration, we’ve decided it’s time to say goodbye to

The Seed House has always and will always have one core focus: helping farmers succeed. Up until now, we’ve been able to keep up with the needs of our farmer and dealer groups of core clientele, while also having a really nice time providing garden items to homeowners. But to meet the challenges farmers are facing today, we believe we need to focus 100% of our efforts on providing the strongest organic and conventional, non-GMO farm seed in the nation. And that means streamlining our product offerings. So, moving forward, we’re eliminating many of our Garden Center items, including plants, garden seeds, livestock feed, bird seed, gifts, lawn and garden chemicals, and other horticultural and livestock-related products. We will continue selling lawn seed, sweet corn, wildflower mixtures, and some companion products that compliment our diverse farm sales portfolio.

It has been a joy to get to know you over the years. Assisting you in finding the perfect array of vegetable seeds or plants for your garden? Heck yes.

Helping you select the perfect shrub to complement your landscape? Most definitely. Wrapping up some treats for your favorite furry friends? That was pawesome. Landing on a gift for that bird lover in your life? We loved it. We loved all of it. It’s been an honor to help grow your outdoor (and indoor) spaces. It’s sad to say goodbye to all of our garden friends, but we feel this will help us best serve the unique needs of today’s farmers in the long run.

Thank you to the Garden Center team—current and past—for pouring your hearts into people’s yards. Since we began selling bedding plants in the mid-’70s, we have had dozens of great employees who have contributed to the Garden Center’s success along the way.

Fall is near and we’ll begin winding down our garden offerings immediately, marking most items 25% off. So, stop in to take home some great deals. While we will no longer be selling garden products, we hope you’ll never stop growing your gardens.

Thank
