The Highway Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining and repairing Freeborn County roads, bridges, related structures and highway maintenance equipment to provide for the safety and adequate travel and accessibility for the public. This includes road maintenance work, heavy equipment operation, tool use, road construction, and traffic control. Required to be on-call for snow, ice and other emergencies; and other duties as assigned. Must have a valid Minnesota Driver’s License, and ability to obtain a Minnesota Commercial Driver’s License, MSHA Certification, forklift certification, and OSHA training.
