HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE LABORER
Freeborn County is accepting applications for the position of full time Highway Maintenance Laborer. Duties include maintaining road right-of-ways and other county facilities, spraying, mowing, clearing brush, pavement patching and other road surface maintenance. Also performs cleaning and maintenance duties at highway department facilities and county parks. Assists with the sign maintenance, provides traffic control, helps engineering staff on construction projects, loads trucks, and is a backup for plow drivers. Required to be on-call for snow, ice and other emergencies; and other duties as assigned. Must have a valid Minnesota Driver’s License, and ability to obtain MSHA Certification, forklift certification, and OSHA training. Minimum pay $21.72 /hourly.
