Freeborn County is accepting applications for a full-time position of Property Appraiser in the Assessor’s Office. In accordance with Minnesota Statutes, the Appraiser is responsible to classify and accurately appraise residential, agricultural and commercial properties in Freeborn County for ad valorem taxation purposes. The Appraiser utilizes standardized mass appraisal practices to determine the market value o f each property impartially and in a fair and equitable manner. This requires physically reviewing properties, analyzing sales data and resolving value disputes.

The DHS Accounting Specialist Sr performs a variety of accounting procedures and bookkeeping duties under the DHS Accounting Supervisor and Finance Manager. This position maintains the Social Welfare Fund, Agency Collection System, and Revenue Recapture information for auditing purposes In addition, this position performs accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable functions for all Human Services areas Pay range $25 26 - $33.68 depending on qualifications.
