Spring Expo T
he Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes you to our community and to our annual Spring Expo! We are excited about our lineup of exhibitors offering a variety of services and products. There will be information, fun and food for the entire family! Based on a great response last year, we decided to keep our focus on senior health and well-being. Eight speakers will provide a wealth of information. Visit the speaker section off the Commons area from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to learn more. Make sure to bring your kids to the Kidz Zone! Visit with Cuddles the Clown. Create a fun time for your kids with creative face painting and balloon sculptures. Check it out! Don’t worry about your schedule. The Spring Expo has a great variety of food and beverages. Top-notch food vendors include Café 213, Bruno’s Restaurant and Doc’s on the Fox. There will be something to satisfy everyone. Located on the Fox River, Waterford has a beautiful, historic downtown district, fantastic local eateries and lots of outdoor and river activities. Come back anytime! In addition to the Spring Expo, the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce supports many other events: • Golfers will enjoy our spring and fall golf outings at Rivermoor Country Club. Bring a foursome or sign up with others. Dinner follows a day on the course. • The eight annual Balloonfest will be held Thursday, July 19, to Sunday, July 22. This magical weekend has events to keep you coming back. Located at Waterford’s Evergreen Elementary School, Balloonfest features hot air balloon launches and glows, live music for adults and kids, a beer garden, business and arts and crafts vendors, food from all over the area and lots of kids’ activities. • The Full Moon Four-Miler is an evening run/ walk. The run is an accredited event for the avid runners, yet short enough for a family run/walk. Come enjoy an excursion through Waterford on Aug. 4. • FUNd-a-Palooza is another fun, family event held at River City Lanes. Feel free to put together your own team or sign up individually to join others on Nov. 4. One entry fee includes bowling and a pizza buffet. Fundraising events include raffles and a silent auction to support the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce. • And other Chamber and community events. The Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce is the place to start when visiting or moving into the community. According to its website, the mission of the chamber is to “promote responsible business development, tourism and growth in the overall best interest of the Waterford area through services and representation of the business community.” The chamber doesn’t stop there, the chamber also hosts several events to bring
