1-2 Elegant Farmer Autumn

Harvest Fest – The Elegant Farmer offers a family fun on-farm experience. Everyone is welcome to the orchard Saturdays and Sundays only, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 10Oct. 23 to pick from 12 varieties of apples or select the prefect pumpkins from the patch. Enjoy fall colors aboard a tractor-pulled hayride, pony ride or train ride or try the five-acres, family-friendly farm scene corn maze. Elegant Farmer, 1545 Main Street, Mukwonago. 1 Elkhorn Holiday Craft Bash – The event brings its Round Robin of craft shows entirely to the Walworth County Fairgrounds. Featuring over 300 indoor and outdoor crafters and artisans. Food trucks will be on site with Stillwater Coffee Company in the Log Cabin. Rain or shine. Free parking! Walworth County Fairgrounds, Elkhorn 1 Haunted Hayrides – Join Grand Geneva for a Haunted Hayride at Dan Patch Stables. First rides of the night are familyfriendly for younger children. Tickets are sold at the door the night of starting at 5:45 p.m. and are on a first-come, first-scared basis. Dates Oct. 1, 7, 8. 9, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29, 30. Grand Geneva, 7036 Grand Geneva Way, Lake Geneva. 7-9 Lake Geneva Oktoberfest – Two days (and a pre-party) of festive fun featuring food, music and entertainment, craft fair vendors, kids games and activities and a traditional Oktoberfest beer garden. Pre-party Oct. 7, 5-9 p.m. at Topsy Turvy Brewery. Festival opens at noon at Flat Iron Park on Oct. 8 and 9. Eddie Kobesko “The Roving Accordion Player” will be in the park and around town on Saturday and Sunday. Oktoberfest is a ticketed event. No experience necessary – participants will receive all the supplies needed and step-by-step instructions. East Troy Electric Railroad – 202 Church St., East Troy. Take a 14-mile train ride on the only remaining electric interurban tracks in Wisconsin. Historic museum and carefully maintained rail cars from 90 to 100 years ago. Stops at the Elegant Farmer. 15 miles north of Lake Geneva on Highway 120. Several trains depart each day on weekends from the East Troy Depot.
