Arts and crafts fair scheduled for summer

Antioch will host an “Arts and Crafts Faire” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 18, in Downtown Antioch, Main St. and Orchard St., Antioch. There will be over 85 booths, food and artists. Saturday activities include: • Children’s free face painting from noon to 2 p.m. • Children’s free balloon art from noon to 2 p.m. • Cha Cha the Rainforest mascot will meet people from noon to 2 p.m.

Have coffee with a cop

Community members are invited to have coffee and a conversation with the Chief and Command Staff of the Antioch Police Department from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, June 9, at Antioch Public Library District, 757 North Main St., Antioch. “Coffee with the Cop” will provide an opportunity for community members and officers from the Antioch Police

Department to come together in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships and drink coffee. Community members are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas or simply get to know the officers. These interactions are the foundation of community partnerships.
