Threat to officer • Ketura C. Wanless, 47, of Sharon; two counts each of threat to a law enforcement officer and throwing or discharging bodily fluids at a public safety worker.

Wanless was pulled over for speeding and suspected drunken driving in Sharon on Jan. 8, according to the complaint. She repeatedly failed to comply with officers’ commands, yelled expletives at officers, threatened to kill them and their families and spat at officers

Man in relationship found with porn A status conference is scheduled for Feb. 13 for a Walworth County Jail inmate found with child pornography and images of himself having sex with an animal and holding a gun.

Zachery J. Horsefall, 20, was charged Dec. 11 in Walworth County Circuit Court with possession of child pornography as a repeater and possession of a firearm by a felon.

According to the criminal complaint, Horsefall was making calls on a recorded line from the jail to a 13-yearold girl who lives in the Town of Lyons. During a phone call

Nov. 13, Horsefall and the girl discuss how they miss each other and want to cuddle, and Horsefall says when he is released from jail, he can come to the girl’s house and “tap that.”

On Nov. 20, in another phone conversation from the jail, Horsefall tells a man to come to the jail, pick up his cell phones, remove the SIM cards and break them and to change his Snapchat password.

On the phone, police found three pornographic images of the same girl whom Horsefall multiple videos of Horsefall engaged in bestiality with a dog and a photo of him holding a handgun with a long rifle nearby.

Boy Scout Troop 243 offers a year-round adventure-based program designed to offer and encourage effective character, citizenship and leadership training for boys age 11-17 to help them make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime. In addition to camping, Scouts and adult leaders enjoy activities such as cycling, rock-climbing and rappelling, canoeing, council activities and more while accommodating the needs of today’s busy families. Boy Scout Meetings are held every Tuesday Evening during the academic year between 6:30pm and 8pm, usually at the at Elkhorn Area High School, 482 E Geneva St. Scouting Events: Our most recent summers have taken us sailing in the Florida Keys, Canoeing in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, and week-long camps in Central and Upper Wisconsin. Every year we try to squeeze in biking, hiking, canoeing, wilderness survival camping, and outdoor cooking. We also attend some of the larger Scouting gatherings in the region including the Lincoln Pilgrimage in Springfield, IL, Grant Pilgrimage in Galena, IL and Circus Heritage event in Baraboo, WI. Merit Badges: Merit badges are awards earned by youth members of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), based on activities within an area of study by completing a list of periodically updated requirements. The purpose of the merit badge program is to allow Scouts to examine subjects to determine if they would like to further pursue them as

a career or a vocation. Search for: Do Your Best!

Troop 243 offers boys age 11-17 opportunities for adventure, leadership, and excitement. Boys have opportunities to plan and organize meals, events, and achievement goals while filling several leadership roles. In addition to camping, Scouts and adult leaders enjoy activities such as rock-climbing and rappelling, canoeing, cycling, and much more while accommodating the needs of today’s busy families. The Scouting experience has no equal, and we welcome you to experience Scouting with Troop 243. Meetings are held most Tuesday Evenings at 6:30pm at Elkhorn Area High School, 482 E Geneva St, Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

Fun with Troop 243: Here are some examples of the fun events we have experienced in recent years: Summer Camps in Central and Upper Wisconsin. High adventure in the Boundary Waters, sailing the Florida Keys at Sea Base, community service projects, electronic campout, canoe races at the Rock River Regatta, winter survival camping, backpacking, Adventure Rock indoor climbing, spelunking and overnight on a submarine.
