Mesquaki & Potawatomi Native Americans trade furs and meat for vegetables and wares. The families cook, play and enjoy the day along the banks of the Kishwaukee River. Sculpture by Jon Critchfield 1996-2001. Carved from eleven local trees, the group was originally installed on the millrace bank near the universally accessible Bloom Playground but it now resides beside the Belvidere Park Administration Building.
