The fun in Downtown Antioch begins with the Antioch Chamber’s NEW Princess & Pirate Night Out w/After Party on Sept. 15 and the Village Wine Walk on Sept.24. Tickets sell out quickly so get yours early.

OCTOBER

Witches Night Out w/After Party is Oct. 20. You’ll enjoy an evening of cacklin’ fun at this popular event (21+). Visit AntiochChamber.org

NEW--Urban Fair at Vintage Market, hosted by the Antioch Chamber, will be held this fall in downtown Antioch. This upscale vintage market is in planning and will showcase some of the best crafters in the Midwest. Visit AntiochChamber.org for date and information.

The Village hosts Harvest Fest and Treat the Streets on Oct. 22, along with the Running of the Wieners. That’s right, a Wiener Race full of short-legged, longeared, barking Wieners! Prizes will be awarded to the winners!

NOVEMBER

Tipsy Elves w/After Party, hosted by the Antioch Chamber, takes place on Thursday, Nov. 17. Ladies (21+) enjoy an evening of contests, raffles, prizes, pizza and more. Visit AntiochChamber.org

NOVEMBER/DECEMBER

Dickens’ Holiday Village. Experience the ambiance of the Dickens Era as you take a Dickens Tour and stroll about to learn more about life in that time long ago.

This popular holiday event is hosted by the Antioch Chamber. Take your own tour and enjoy our indoor “Dicken Displays” inside the Kringle Christmas Showroom at 510 Orchard Street in downtown Antioch.

Dickens goes on display on Thanksgiving and may be enjoyed daily through New Year’s Day. Bus tours come to Antioch to enjoy our Dickens Holiday Village, which brings foot traffic to our shops and restaurants.

KRINGLE’S CHRISTMAS VILLAGE-SHOWROOM

The Antioch Chamber is proud to host Kringle’s Christmas Village, located at 510 Orchard Street in Downtown Antioch. Open daily Thanksgiving Day through New Year’s Day 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

At Kringle, you’ll enjoy dozens of animated holiday shadowboxes throughout the downtown. These miniature scenes might sound small, but most are 6-feet big!

New displays are featured this year – visit and enjoy Kringle’s Christmas Village!

Take your own tour around Antioch’s downtown and enjoy this magical event daily (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.). Visit AntiochChamber.org.

Santa’s Frozen Breakfast is hosted on Saturday, Nov. 26. Santa and his Frozen Friends are there to bring holiday cheer. Plus enjoy a Sing Along and photo ops.

The Village of Antioch Welcomes Santa and the Holiday Season to town at the oldfashioned Christmas Parade sponsored by the Village of Antioch. The parade takes place on Friday, Nov. 25, on Main Street between Park Avenue and Depot Street traveling North.

Immediately following the Christmas Parade, you’ll enjoy the Village’s Tree Lighting Ceremony in front of Village Hall. Here you’ll enjoy old-fashioned caroling provided by the Antioch Community High School Chorus.

The Antioch Fire Department hands out free cookies and hot chocolate. Community Officials welcome everyone and then the countdown to the lighting of the official community tree happens.

Santa also has a mailbox right here in Antioch! Hosted by the Village Parks & Rec Department. Santa loves to receive letters from all the wonderful children of

the Community.

Make sure to include your return address so Santa can send his reply. Contact the Village Parks Department for the mailbox location or you can send your letter to: Santa Claus, c/o Antioch Parks Department, 806 Holbek Drive, Antioch, IL 60002.

DECEMBER

Christmas Musical Light Show is open daily, 6 to 9 p.m. at the Antioch Bandshell Dec. 1 to 25 in downtown Antioch. Drive up to enjoy the show and listen from the comfort of your vehicle using our designated radio station. Located on Skidmore Avenue in downtown Antioch.

Find Frosty is fun for the whole family! Visit participating shop windows in downtown Antioch (Dec. 1 to 25) and count the snowmen in their window. Fill out the Find Frosty Contest Form for a chance to win a prize! Make sure you look for our Special Snowmen for an additional chance to win a prize!
