Two miles of private trails, a treasure hunt through the woods, and a luxury home built for the rest of the weekend.
The lodge sits on thirty private acres just outside Epworth, eighteen minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Two miles of manicured trails wind through hardwood and laurel, marked along the way with arched trees and the occasional clearings. Somewhere on the trail is the treasure hunt, a set of waypoints in the spirit of geocaching that gives kids and adults something to track on a long Saturday afternoon.
Inside, the layout is built for groups that want to be in the same place without being on top of each other. Four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, room for ten. Three king bedrooms across two floors and a twin bunk room sized for the younger crew. The entry-level kitchen runs open into a dining area for six and a great room with a stone gas fireplace and a 65-inch Smart TV. The lower entertainment level keeps its own rhythm with a second gas fireplace, a 75-inch Smart TV, a custom barrel arcade table, and a wet bar with a wine fridge and a second refrigerator for longer stays.
Outside, the upper deck holds a gas fire table, an outdoor dining setup for six, and a covered Smart TV. The lower deck steps down to a hot tub for eight. A stone walkway leads off into the trees toward the fire pit, where six Adirondack chairs circle the ring. The pickleball court and cornhole boards sit beyond the walkway.
