THE PERCH

Three Private King Suites, a Sauna, and Three Levels of Mountain Living in Big Canoe

THE COMFORT COLLECTIVE

Be the First to Experience Our Newest Mountain Getaway

Tucked into the mountains of Big Canoe, The Perch is a thoughtfully designed three-bedroom retreat where every guest enjoys the comfort of a private king suite with its own en suite bath. Set just an hour north of Atlanta, this elevated mountain escape blends refined comforts with the peaceful rhythm of North Georgia.

Spend mornings wrapped in mountain views, afternoons gathered on the screened porch, and evenings soaking beneath the stars in the covered hot tub. Upstairs, the primary suite offers its own private sanctuary with a sauna, Jacuzzi tub, and fireplace—creating a stay that feels equal parts restorative and unforgettable.

Whether you’re planning a couples’ getaway, a family retreat, or a weekend with friends, The Perch was designed for slowing down, reconnecting, and making the mountains feel like home.

SOMETHING NEW IN DOWNTOWN

Downtown Blue Ridge has welcomed an exciting new addition to its dining scene with the arrival of Rose's Smash House, a fresh take on the classic American burger that blends fine-dining expertise with an approachable, laid-back atmosphere. Located at 588 East Main Street, this locally owned restaurant is quickly becoming a favorite for both residents and visitors looking for an unforgettable meal.

Created by a husband-and-wife team with years of experience in fine dining, Rose's Smash House was built on a simple philosophy: exceptional food should be enjoyed by everyone. Their signature smash burgers are crafted from 100% locally sourced Georgia Wagyu beef, cooked to order to achieve the signature crispy, caramelized edges that burger enthusiasts crave. The experience doesn't stop there— crispy fries cooked in grass-fed beef tallow and an energetic, industrial-inspired dining room complete the experience.

The restaurant's atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between casual and contemporary. Drawing inspiration from tattoo parlors and mechanic shops, the

open kitchen showcases the craftsmanship behind every burger while creating a lively setting where families, friends, and travelers can gather over great food and cold drinks. It's the kind of place that feels equally fitting after a day hiking the Blue Ridge trails or while exploring downtown's charming shops and galleries.

For visitors staying in the North Georgia mountains, Rose's Smash House offers another reason to spend an afternoon strolling downtown Blue Ridge. Whether you're craving a classic cheeseburger, sharing fries with friends, or simply looking for one of the area's newest culinary experiences, this locally owned gem delivers quality, flavor, and genuine hospitality in every bite.

Rose's Smash House is located at 588 E. Main Street in Blue Ridge and is open Thursday through Monday, with varying hours throughout the week. Check their website or social media for current hours and menu updates.
