I enlisted in the military when I was 17 and met my husband there. Our unit deployed, and while overseas, we realized our careers weren’t quite right for us. Southeast Tech was the best option because we could get done in two years and not spend another four to six years in college. My love of The SIMS (video games) as a kid led me to enroll in Southeast Tech’s Architectural Engineering Technology program. Once I started, I realized it wasn’t for me.
