Summer Fun! We know a lot of our residents have pets they love. Here are some tips to help keep them safe in the heat!
* Never leave your pet unsupervised outside on hot days. While you are away, keep your pet indoors with air conditioning. * While outside, ensure your pet has access to fresh water, shade, and shelter away from direct sunlight. * Take your daily walk or jog in the morning, before temperatures reach dangerous levels. * Never leave your pet alone in a parked car. Heat quickly builds to deadly levels in a closed car, even on sunny days that aren’t hot. * And keep their little paws off hot pavement! If it is too hot for you, it is too hot for them.

KEEP YOUR GRILL OUTSIDE AND AT LEAST 10 FEET AWAY FROM YOUR HOUSE OR OTHER STRUCTURES MAKE SURE YOUR GRILL IS STABLE AND CAN NOT TIP OVER EASILY KEEP A FIRE EXTINQUISHER OR BAKING SODA CLOSE TO HANDLE A FIRE BE SURE TO KEEP YOUR GRILL CLEAN AND FREE OF EXCESS GREASE
PERFECT GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST 1. Preheat your grill to medium/high heat. 2. Pat your chicken breasts with a paper towel to remove extra moisture, then apply a rub of salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and ranch seasoning. 3. Grill the chicken for 5 minutes per side, then apply barbeque sauce. Continue cooking until done in the center. Let rest a few minutes and enjoy!

SUMMER CHECKLIST Organize school papers, backpacks, etc. before heading into summer. Set up an area for wet towels and swimsuits Lighten up the decor by adding light and bright linens, pillows and curtains. Clean gutters and downspouts to ensure that the summer rain showers don't cause damage and leaks to your siding. Schedule a maintenance for your A/C. The last thing you want is your air conditioning to have an issue in the middle of the summer heat. Make your summer bucket list and start having fun!
