NextGen NFL Flag is designed to have a deeply meaningful experience that shapes kids and their future. Through flag football, we will build a firm foundation for the youth participating in the program - to help them on their journey of sports and life. Our goal is to help shape better athletes, but more importantly ... better people. Being a part of a team and all that that entails including preparation, accountability, healthy competition and experiencing wins and losses help to create character, build confidence, encouragement and strength.
Our goal is to have our kids aim to be their best. Be the best teammate, give their best effort, serve their community to the best of their abilities. We are laying the foundation for today and for what’s to come.
I was fortunate to play football at every level (high school, college and pro). My successes - and failures - helped me develop a unique perspective that shines a light on areas on and off the field. We want to share those lessons learned to help our youth be prepared on their path.
Being the youngest in my family, I was also incredibly blessed to have older siblings, especially one close in age with my brother Matt. He’s always looked out for me, and having a big brother is an indescribable blessing.
I’m honored to run this program with him and give every kid who joins our community two big brothers for life.

One investment area where I receive a lot of questions from clients is about annuity investing. Like many investments, annuities are not very everyone; however, as one gets older and seeks to protect some of their investment portfolio from downside risk and current taxation, annuities might make sense for a portfolio allocation. Annuity products have changed drastically over the years and now offer many lower cost product structures and investment options.
In order to help my clients review their current annuity contracts or to help them understand if a new annuity investment is a suitable allocation for their current portfolio, we offer a COMPLIMENTARY, annuity review/analysis. The benefits of a review will help you understand the answers to the following questions:
1 Now that the market is at a historical high, should I consider moving some of my stocks, mutual funds or my current variable annuity policy into a new annuity contract that will provide a principal guarantee on all or part of my funds (provided by a death benefit or a downside buffer)?

3 What are the tax-advantages of annuities?

When I was younger, my Mom loved to read me the book “If You Give A Mouse A Cookie.” The plot essentially revolves around an ever-growing list of to-do’s that had to be accomplished, all set into motion by the simple act of giving a mouse a cookie. This past year, I started rereading a collection of classics. As I began working through Jane Austen’s masterpieces, I decided it’d be a lovely and delicious (pun intended) endeavor to apply the same concept to a “collection” of dining experiences worth writing home about.

In regards to a “standalone” Medicare RX plan, some plans used to not have a name brand drug deductible and now they do. There are a few places in the world that I’ve truly relaxed outside my own home. Believe me, it is a very short list. Calling all existing Medicare Beneficiaries, are you looking to save some money on either your monthly premiums, your copays, your prescription drug co-pays or perhaps a trifecta and you get all three, then contact me to review your options.
The biggest way to save money is to see if a Medicare Advantage plan would work for you. If it does work, you cancel your Medicare Supplement and Medicare Drug plan for 2022 because a Medicare Advantage plan gives you that type of coverage and financial protection from costly medical bills. These type of plans in Orange County typically have no premium. The savings can be life changing to some people, especially married couples over the age of 70. Medicare supplement plan premiums go up as you get older AND they can also have increases related to the cost of medical care for their members.
Most people on a “standalone” Medicare prescription drug plan don’t realize when their monthly premium increases in the new year
because if they’re taking social security the premium is usually being directly deducted from their social security check. Many insurance companies have either increased their monthly RX plan premium or their annual deductible or both! Have your prescriptions changed since you first enrolled in your current Medicare Drug plan? If they’re expensive medications (in the $40$100 range when you fill them) then it’s time for a review. If you’re on several name brand medications, and you started taking them midyear, chances are that you won’t
hit the “donut hole” this year. But you certainly have a good chance of it next year so you need to make sure that you’re on the best plan in terms of co-pays and avoiding entering the “donut hole aka coverage gap”. Attention Type one diabetics, there is now a Medicare Advantage plan that covers insulin at a $0 copay, even through the coverage gap! No standalone drug plan does that.
Another way to save money is to compare Medicare drug plan premiums for your standalone drug plan. Like I said earlier, many plans have been increasing their premiums year after year. Also, while AEP is NOT the time to change your Medicare supplement plan (The month of your birthday and 2 months following that month is, it’s called the “birthday rule”) it could be a time to get educated about what other carrier’s premiums are for the Medicare supplement plan that you’re on. Medicare Supplement plans are all standardized by the government. A Plan F, Plan G or Plan N, for example, are all the same, no matter what insurance company you use. However, some insurance carriers have upped their game, adding additional benefits such as routine vision and hearing, acupuncture and more to their Medicare supplement plan for a more “value added” experience. The additional premium for these extra benefits are minimal.
