About the South Coast Children’s Chorus

SCCC s a vibrant non-profit musical ensemble for grades 112 dedicated to nurturing young voices and fostering a love for choral music. With singers hailing from diverse backgrounds across the South Coast region of Massachusetts, SCCC provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for young vocalists.

Rooted in its core values of Service, Culture, Confidence, and Community, SCCC offers two distinct ensembles: the Preparatory Chorus, under the direction of Amy Mac McMahon, provides younger singers an opportunity to explore the fundamentals of choral singing. The Advanced Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Tianxu Zhou, allows more experienced singers to refine their skills and tackle challenging repertoire. Through regular rehearsals, performances, and educational opportunities, SCCC empowers its members to develop confidence, musicianship, and a lifelong appreciation for the power of music.
