DAV5K Boston Race Honors Disabled Veterans
An Auto Larceny Incident by Rick Winterson
Y
esterday morning at 5:30, about an hour before sunrise, an alleged auto larceny took place in South Boston near the intersection of F and West Sixth Streets. The supposed victim of this crime awoke to hear the sound of glass breaking. When he exited his residence, he spotted a man at his automobile, holding a backpack and computer that belonged to the victim. The man at the automobile fled up Sixth Street. The victim discharged a firearm, but did not hit anything. The police have recovered the ballistic evidence. And it would be a terrible shame if you had your Thanksgiving groceries or all your Christmas gifts stolen. Take a look at the drawing that accompanies this article. That’s the number of auto Continued on Page 2

WRKO announcers handled the opening ceremonies and various organizers for the race spoke of the importance of this kind of event for veterans and their families. With a loop around Pleasure Bay one can see that veterans of all stripes, and their supporters were out in force. The weather was crisp, but Continued on page 6
