outh Boston Online frequently hears the question, “So what can we do about that?” Sometimes the meaning of the word “that” isn’t very clear, but right now, as this is being written, there are three things occurring in the second half of the Year 2020 that are critically important to each and every one of us – the 2020 Census, the COVID-19 pandemic caused by Coronavirus, and the hotly contested election races that are underway (Primary Day is Tuesday, September 1, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.).

You know the importance of voting. The September 01 Primary is just five days from now. Whether you choose to vote by mail or in person, please vote. There are more complaints about government at all levels than we’ve ever heard before, so take action as an individual and vote your choice: either to elect or to re-elect. But please vote – voting is proof positive that you, as an individual, have the power to do something a b out p o or g over n ment .
