Captain's Notes - Simon Barby
SIMON BARBY
The start of the season has not been the start we have been hoping for, with the results not going our way.

Our performance in the first half against Long Crendon was really good but, unfortunately, a 15 minute spell in the 2nd half cost us the game. We moved onto a midweek game against Abingdon, we battled well ,and put an aggressive and good performance in once again, but we marginally lost by 1 goal. Still, all-in-all it was a better performance!
So, we move on to play Milton United today at BHP, and we need to bounce back and get our first 3 points on the table. We need to take what we learned from the first two games into this home fixture against Milton. We need to do the basics, defend properly and take our chances in front of goal. Doing this gives us the opportunity go and win this game and to kick start our season!
We are delighted to have Kyle Locklin back with us in the squad. He will be a great addition on and off the pitch this season! The squad’s togetherness on and off the pitch is quality and all the lads have good banter. But when we also need to get down to the knitty-gritty serious stuff we can.
I have enjoyed the season so far even though we have not secured a win yet. We are all positive that we will get to winning ways today! Also, we are learning this new step up of football and we will have this new journey together, and we will get winning and climb that table in no time!
Cheers!
