The Wayuu are a large people group who live on the arid coastal border of Colombia and Venezuela. SAM has shared the love of Jesus among them for decades. Today we support local groups in leading literacy programs for hundreds of adults, opening the Word of God and expanding their personal opportunities via job and skills training.

Even more crucial than what we do is who we are. We strive to live out our redemption and identity in Christ as witnesses to our neighbors, ministry partners, and the world. This year we strengthened our commitment to experience the Gospel we proclaim through renewed field conferences and missionwide prayer. Pray for us as we live out God's calling.
