Lincoln International Chamber Music Festival L UNCHTIME CONCERT S ERIES 1.00 PM Eleanor Turner - Harp Mendi Singh - Tabla The duo have performed their unique fusion of Indian and western styles in Birmingham, Stamford and London.

They are currently preparing for their first studio album, blending classical, contemporary and traditional styles.

The harp and tabla complement each other perfectly and these two virtuoso performers work as one, sometimes whipping the music into a frenzy, sometimes achieving a tranquil state.

Lunches can be enjoyed before or after the concert in the Drill Hall foyer café.

Trio Isimsiz was formed in 2009. They have received various accolades including most recently 1st and the Audience Prize at the Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition and 2nd at the International Haydn Chamber Music Competition in Vienna.

Their Stamford concert brings three interesting compositions for Piano Trio.

Sheku has won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music from September 2017. He will be deciding his exciting programme for 2017-18 when he starts at the Royal Academy in the autumn. Sheku's accompanist will be his sister, Isata.

Sheku Kanneh-Mason - Cello Isata Kanneh-Mason - Piano We are delighted to welcome back two members of the amazing Kanneh-Mason family to perform for us again.

They originally played as a trio in November 2014 and were so well received. Since then, last season Isata returned to give a piano recital and her brother Sheku won the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition.

The concert will take place in Finkin Street, where Sheku as a young boy won his class at Grantham Music Festival. He will be performing some of his current repertoire. A more enjoyable and impressive concert to bring this season to a close could hardly be imagined.

Jon Boden In spring 2018 Jon Boden, former leadsinger of Bellowhead, will head out on the his first new release since leaving Bellowhead in May 2016.

In the solo leg of the tour audiences can enjoy an intimate performance with Jon showcasing his infectious new material in a stripped-down, high-octane, personal show using fiddle, guitar, concertina and his trade mark stomp box.

Lincoln Concert Orchestra 70 TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT 7.30 PM Lincoln Concert Orchestra continues its 70th anniversary celebrations with a concert at Saints Peter and Paul Church.

The concert, in the presence of the Mayor of Lincoln, will feature an anniversary composition by leader Hannah Borrill.

The programme will also include a Bach violin concerto with soloist Pawel Kepinski and songs from the shows with soloists Kate Fenn and Peter Merrick.

Susan Hollingworth - Conductor Professional Tenor Soloist The Barry Whitfield Jazz Ensemble Children's Choirs from local schools We will be presenting a concert with an African theme. Main works will be the Missa Luba and Alexander l"Estrange's Zimbe!

Our accompaniment will be the Barry Whitfield Jazz Trio, with input from local young percussionists.
