OUR STRATEGIC PLAN 2023 - 2027

Since 1920, All Souls St Gabriels School has been educating young men and women who are highly valued for their commitment to our School motto of Servire Regnare – to serve is to reign.

On behalf of the Board of Governors, it is my pleasure to present the All Souls St Gabriels School Strategic Plan (2023 – 2027).

This document is intended to set the overall direction of the School for the next five years. It outlines the core values of Integrity, Respect, Resilience and Service that should be at the heart of how the School operates and develops.

Our strategies are designed to support and deliver our mission to nurture young people in the development of their Mind, Body and Spirit.

The delivery of these strategies will be supported by a detailed action plan, with consideration of the resources, timing and outcomes.

This plan has been developed following an extensive community consultation with staff, students, and parents. It has been created around a shared vision of all contributors. I thank our school community for their strong and forthright engagement in the process.

Our clear vision for the future will be achieved through five strategic priorities: 1. Nurturing the Mind – furthering student pathways 2. Nurturing the Body and Spirit – expanding opportunities 3. Enhancing professional capabilities 4. Strengthening community connections 5. Securing our future These priorities will guide the decision making and planning of our School for the next five years. The Senior Leadership Team will work closely with the Board of Governors to ensure that the required time and resources are appropriately allocated. A yearly implementation plan will be developed by the Senior Leadership Team and progress will be reported to the community annually.

I am committed to upholding our values and bringing to life the vison shared by our community. I am excited about the future of our School as we continue to nurture young people in the development of their Mind, Body and Spirit.

STRATEGIC PRIORITIES 2023 - 2027

1. Nurturing the Mind Furthering Student Pathways Encourage, support and celebrate individual student pathways.

Review and enhance curriculum offerings to provide personalised pathways.

Prepare students for the future through their chosen pathway by providing counsel, experience and opportunity.

Advance the development and understanding of transferable skills.

2. Nurturing the Body and Spirit Expanding Opportunities Explore new and existing programs to enhance character development.

Develop structured opportunities for students to be involved in active service.

Advance extra-curricular offerings within The Arts and Rural Activities Programs.

Seek additional opportunities for students to be involved in an expanded Sporting Program.

Uphold Christian values and sustain our relationship with the Anglican Church.

Modernise marketing and communication strategies.

Advance the facility maintenance and upgrade program.
