Like no one is watching Dancers in the Roaring Fork Valley continue to step out and inspire audiences through the power of movement. The recent “Larger Than They Appear: Ripple Effect” performances at Old Town Yoga in Basalt to Aspen Dance Connection’s upcoming “EMERGENCE” at TACAW on July 17 (more on that on this week’s calendar page) are but two instances. “It feels like we’ve begun our own ripple,” read the program for the former, a series designed by Mellie Test and composed of its own ensemble of local choreographers and dance artists.
