Life in Nashville is getting hot, not because of the 90-degree days we’ve had this past summer, but because our incredible city is quickly becoming a modern mecca for the young, sophisticated & successful new generation of up-and-comers.

We had the opportunity to spend the day with two of Nashville’s very own Titans—players Jeffery Simmons (#98) and Cody Hollister (#16), each with their own stories and bright futures, making Nashville their home while crushing it on the NFL stage. The boys are back in town for the upcoming football season, and the scenery looks pretty great from where we stand. So, join us as we spend the day getting to know these two amazing guys hanging out in some of Nashville’s premier clubs, both indoors and outdoors.

Jeffery Simmons, 24, was the 19th overall pick for the Tennessee Titans in the 2019 NFL draft. At 6’4” and 305 pounds, the defensive tackle is a powerhouse player with an even bigger future. Jeffery was recently named #78 of the #100 best NFL players of 2021. Born in Lasalle, Louisiana and growing up in Macon, Mississippi, he was national top 10 player in high school and later a two-time First Team All SEC at Mississippi State, this huge-hearted guy heads back to Starkville every year to host his Jeffery Simmons Football Camp.

Jeffery is committed to helping the community where he grew up, including updating the weight room at Noxubee County High School and feeding the volunteers after a snowstorm hit the city. He continues to make significant strides both on and off the field. Away from football, Simmons enjoys fishing and spending time outdoors with his son, Jeffery Jr. We are excited to see where life in Nashville will take this extraordinary man.

Cody Hollister, 27, has been with the Tennessee Titans since 2019 after playing on the Superbowl LIII winning New England Patriots with his twin brother Jacob (now with the Buffalo Bills) and quarterback Tom Brady. He and Jacob are one of only about a dozen sets of twins that have had careers in the NFL. The 6’4”, 209pound wide receiver from Bend, Oregon, relies on his strong faith and warrior spirit to get him through life’s hurdles. At Mountainview High School, he was on his state championship team, giving the city of Bend its first state title since 1940. Cody was an Arkansas Razorback and twice awarded Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll.

Cody is rock solid when it comes to God and his family values. He attributes his love for sports and the outdoors to growing up in Bend with Jacob. We love this charming guy because, in addition to his good looks and athleticism, Cody is gifted with a talent for singing and songwriting that he hopes to continue crafting here in Music City. We are sure you will be seeing him off the field playing guitar and performing somewhere in downtown Nashville soon, and we can’t wait to get front row seats!
