Sophisticated Wedding

Drew Hill and Chelsea Dugan met through a mutual friend in January of 2020. A few days after being introduced, they went to a Nashville Predators game on their first date. They realized they both enjoyed a lot of the same things here in Nashville. Covid quickly progressed their relationship and the rest is history!

Chelsea and Drew were married on November 12, 2021 atCathedral of the Incarnation. Their reception was at the CountryMusic Hall of Fame and Museum, where Chelsea’s love of TaylorSwift gave event planner Bruce Pittman plenty of opportunities to flex his creative muscles. They wanted to keep the colors and style very classic and elegant while making sure the room felt very romantic and dreamy at the same time. They also wanted to add a few fun personal elements for their big day. Drew andChelsea took several weeks’ worth of dance lessons and their first dance was to “Lover” and was one of their favorite parts of the evening. They had Taylor Swift piano music playing during the seated dinner where everyone’s table was named after a different Swift song. Their photo booth had a neon light which said “It’s a Love Story”, bar napkins and bar signs were also customized with different Taylor Swift quotes, and exit LED wands were customized with “This night is sparkling.”

Their wedding party was mostly family and a few close lifelong friends. Two of the four bridesmaids were due to give birth the week of and the week after the wedding. Fingers were crossed during planning, and the Matron of Honor gave birth on Tuesday and was in the wedding Friday, and the other gave birth a week after the wedding. They were lucky to have both of them in attendance and were great troopers!

After a honeymoon at Unico 2087 Hotel in Riviera Maya, The Hills live in their newly built home in Nashville (fun fact: Drew proposed to Chelsea there in October 2020 when it was just a gravel lot!). Chelsea works for Deloitte in the US Global Accounting department and Drew is an Assistant Golf Pro at The Governor’s Club. sl
