Local Events and Things To Do Edwardsville Book Festival, September 7th, 9am4pm. Edwardsville City Park, 101 S. Buchanan St. Edwardsville, IL. Save this date for the 1st Annual Edwardsville Book Festival! We are planning a day of fun, including local authors & booksellers, crafts for sale, published author panel discussions, fun activities for kids, musical entertainment, and food & drink. O’Fallon Community Park, 401 E. 5th St. O’Fallon, IL. Touch-a-Truck is a free public event. Various types of trucks, vehicles, and machines will be on site for children to touch, climb on, and ask questions about! The trucks will be in a supervised environment with accompanying personnel to teach kids about the equipment and how these vehicles help us and our community.
