As social distancing becomes the new (temporary) normal and events are being cancelled, everyone’s finding themselves with much more time on their hands. Kids (and parents) are going to get bored quickly and it can be challenging for parents to find ways to constructively fill that time. So, with that in mind, we created a list of some FREE resources (many are teacher approved) – as well as some other fun, creative ideas – to help the pass the time in a constructive and active way. We have no idea how long social distancing will last. However, while we have this free time, let’s take advantage of it to grow and connect with our loved ones. Also, please remember that these are very challenging times for small business owners. Please continue to support small local businesses as much as possible in the days ahead. These are the folks who have sponsored and donated throughout the years to our kid's schools, clubs, sports teams, etc. They are the heart and back bone of our community. It’s now our turn to give back and support them! In the days ahead, let’s press on and “control the controllables,” which are our thoughts, words, and actions. We have an opportunity to grow closer as a community, even through social distancing, by acting with kindness and taking care of each other. Blessings to you and your family!
