Pirates of Penzance is the first Gilbert and Sullivan show Illyria ever performed. It promises a unique blend of hilarious melodrama, sharp satire, and glittering wit. The Pirates of Penzance is a much-loved classic musical packed with memorable songs. It is over 100 years old yet as fresh today

Warner Bros. Pictures’ Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is the newest adventure in the Wizarding World created by J.K. Rowling. Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches, and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the side-lines?

Downton Abbey: A New Era

When the sixth series of the smash hit Downton Abbey ended in 2015, we rang a little silver bell, demanded more – and got it with the original Downton Abbey movie. Now, Downton Abbey: A New Era welcomes us back to the Crawley estate and perhaps a little further afield as Julian Fellowes’ new big-screen costume drama sees the Crawley clan take on the French Riviera. The much-anticipated cinematic return of the global phenomenon reunites the beloved cast as they go on a grand journey to the South of France to uncover the mystery of the Dowager Countess’ newly inherited villa.

Mr Willy Wonka has just re-opened his Chocolate Factory and announces in the newspapers that he has hidden five golden tickets in five Wonka Candy Bars. These could be found anywhere, in any shop, any town and in any country in the world. Whoever finds one of these tickets will have a special tour of Mr Wonka’s new factory and take home enough chocolate to last them the rest of their lives… Roald Dahl’s classic story is known to millions around the world and is brought to life in this stage adaptation. Join us for an evening of Scrumptious Fudge-Mallow Delight! This is an amateur production of ROALD DAHL’S CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY adapted by RICHARD GEORGE.

Top Gun: Maverick

Fisherman’s Friends: One and All

Coming Soon In Cinemas Dreckly...2022

The film about the real-life Cornish sea shanty group The Fisherman’s Friends is set to return to the big screen in 2022. The original film told the story of the sea shanty group from Port Isaac in Cornwall, who found global fame after being plucked from obscurity by a record label exec, played by Daniel Mays. Fisherman’s Friends: One and All will continue following the now highly successful sea shanty crew as they handle their new-found fame. The film will tell the story of the release of their second album and their debut on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival. Richard Harrington, Ramon Tikaram and Joshua Maguire join the cast along with singer-songwriter Imelda May, who makes her acting debut.

Opening Times. Monday - Friday 9.30am - 10.30am 11.15am - 12.30pm 2.30pm - 4.30pm 45 minutes prior to all performances (Opening hours vary during school holidays)

Concessions.

Theatre Bar.

These are usually only available to under 18s. If other concessions are available this will be indicated along with the groups those prices will be available to. ID may be required.

Our fully licensed bar is open before all performances and during an interval. We stock a range of beer, wine and pre-mixed spirits. There is also a selection of soft drinks, teas and coffees available. Ice Cream is also usually available.

Payments / Refunds. We accept cash and credit/debit card payments. We are not able to refund tickets unless a show is cancelled. We can try to re-sell tickets for you if the event is sold out.

Book With Confidence. Attending an event is your personal decision based on your own circumstances and those of anyone else you live with. This decision might be influenced by age, health and how serious catching an infection could be for you. We are doing everything we reasonably can to minimise the risks, but only you can decide whether attending is the right thing for you and others in your household.

Accessibility. We make a real effort to make sure our performances are accessible to as many people as possible, and hope to make your visit here enjoyable and hassle-free. If you do need assistance, please let us know when booking your tickets. Our facilities include level access on the ground floor to the theatre, an accessible toilet located in the foyer, allocated wheelchair spaces in the auditorium and a hearing loop facility. Assistance dogs are welcome. If you have any other specific access needs, please do not be afraid to discuss them with us and our staff will do their utmost to assist you.
