The Park is a business incubator which fosters food science businesses. It is located in the Eastern Market neighborhood of Detroit,MI and is adjacent to the Dequindre Cut Greenway. Our proposal centers around featuring a social stair and greenway access point to aim to improve the overall neighborhood environment, as well as using various sustainable strategies including stack ventilation and natural daylighting. Our proposal also carefully considers views and spatial organization for building occupants.
I was responsible for leading facade design, completing floor plans, leading interior spatial planning, finalizing the Revit model, producing axonometric diagrams and contributing to decisions on sustainable design and structural and mechanical systems.

OASI is a public design project in Volterra Italy which encompasses a sequence of several experiential moments that play on the sensorial experiences of their occupants. Its design focuses around the use and movement of water, when applied to the human senses. At the center of the design is a wading pool, which was adapted from a medieval cistern. The main goal of this project was to create a comfortable and interesting space for the community of Volterra to gather together. I was largely responsible for leading the design and completing drawings and diagrams, while my group member collected site data and produced the 3D model and renders.

Residential Addition Proposal

March 2023
AutoCad
This project was a alteration and addition of a pre-existing building in Windsor Ontario. The building serves as both single unit residential as well as a commercial space for a dress alterations business. When I started working on this project initial plans and elevations had already been drawn. It was my job to refine these drawings as well as create new ones based on meetings with clients and site visits.

This project is a contemporary arts museum situated on Shelby St. in the Capitol Park historical district of Detroit. The site borders the park. The museum is meant to represent the concept of contemporary, not just contemporary art but also contemporary throughts, ideas and times as a whole. This was inspired by the recent revitilization of Capitol Park, how spaces, ideas and visual culture changes over time in ways that may be exciting or unexpected. This concept is represented through the form of the building as well as the circulation within it. It allows the occupant of the space to experiance spaces and circulation that play on the idea of constant abstraction.

Hand Drawings (digitized), Physical model
An alumni live/ work space, designed through the concept of “a village looking inwards”. It is comprised of a two bedroom house as well as a studio space. It is named after its spiraling design, as the house and studio tie into the topography they are built on creating the fluid motion of a spiral that surrounds it’s central courtyard

A selection of final models from architecture design studio courses. The model created for ARCH 4100 was part of a group project and was also worked on by Lexy Iacobelli and Abbie Franz. I was responsible for the creation of the laser cut files on AutoCAD and running the laser cut machine, as well as assisting with assembly. The two models shown on the adjacent page were made solely by myself and are depictions of independent projects I completed on my own in earlier design studios.
