TE MAHOE SCHOOL - ABOUT OUR NEW LOGO! Te Mahoe School logo was inspired by the direction of the hand-drawn logo concepts that the tamariki created. They guided us in the colour choice and also what they deemed to be of importance important Te Mahoe tree, Fire, Koru, bold, vibrant and alive! The koru whakaahua creates the strong base for the Mahoe tree to stand proud on and represent new life, growth, strength and represents the whakapapa of the school. The four values Respect, Excellence, Perseverance and Self Control can be directed to the four strongest Koru. This shape also represents movement of the water of the Rangitaiki River, Matahina Lake and the Matahina Dam high above the school. San Serif fonts were chosen to represent strength, stability, progressive and modern. The Colour: The fire colours - yellow through to red represent positivity, warmth, creativity, motivation, youthfulness, exuberance, fun and energy. The bright Green represents health, serenity and abundance with the black represents timelessness.
