UMaine is located on Marsh Island between the Stillwater and Penobscot rivers in Orono, Maine. Maine’s natural beauty is evident on campus and in the surrounding area. Nearby popular destinations include Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Baxter State Park and Mount Katahdin.
