ROADMAP TO NET ZERO
We are committed to reducing our direct and indirect greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in line with achieving net zero emissions by 2040. Throughout 2022, the focus has been on identifying reduction opportunities to be implemented in subsequent years, through the creation of our net zero roadmap. However, some measures have already been implemented in 2022, such as: switching to green energy tariffs for purchased electricity on a number of operational plants in Europe and some offices; replacing diesel generators with portable solar systems on some projects; and engaging with suppliers around this topic to understand their decarbonisation plans and better calculate our scope 3 emissions.
