New Product Catalogue for High Voltage

Elcowire Rail successful in Portugal
Elcowire delivered the last 2 years more than 600 tons of copper and copper alloy contact wires, messenger and dropper wires to Portugal for the refurbishment of three major lines, respectively electrification projects: Linha da Beira Alta line, Linha de Evora line and Linha de Sintra.
Three of the largest overhead line installation companies in Portugal ordered the products from Elcowire Rail and installed the overhead line wires, which are essential for the high-speed connections towards Spain.
Recently Elcowire Rail’s sales manager for Western Europe, Hans-Peter Wipfler, visited the customers in Portugal and explained the company’s best performance in sustainability and future possibilities introducing low carbon copper and recycled copper. The customers showed great interest in such CO2 reducing high sophisticated production facilities and efficiency in supply. The application of Elcowire’s highly developed products is more and more decisive for successful project execution and to make the world safer and greener.
