Welcome

We’ve been making furniture for over 50 years, gaining valuable experience replicating antiques using traditional, time-honoured cabinet making techniques. Some of our cabinetmakers have been working for us for over two decades.

Unfitted is an Employee Owned Trust where all the employees have an interest in the company’s operation and future (like John Lewis/Waitrose and Richer Sounds).

Unlike many of our competitors, all of our furniture is made in one workshop located in the heart of the Cotswolds, employing a team of cabinetmakers who are dedicated to creating bespoke furniture – all designed to give you years of reliable service. We would love you to visit us at our workshop where you can meet and talk to our craftsmen at work, and see that when we say bespoke and handcrafted, we really mean it!

Warm & Inviting Cotswold Cottage

Being invited to feature this delightful kitchen in our new brochure was a real treat. This kitchen is a room full of character and fun, with the island oozing elegance and sophistication. The stunning polished zinc breakfast bar embraces the brushed Carrara quartz marble worktop to create a magnificent centre piece - ideal for food preparation and relaxing.

Note the custom designed plate rack and open shelves together with the Farrow & Ball and Zoffany paint colours - all standard features for a truly bespoke kitchen.

You’ll never want to leave this warm and cozy kitchen in the evenings either. Clever use of high-efficiency LED in the island and fabulous hints of red really sets the scene for entertaining - and the guests won’t have to walk too far to top up their wine glasses either!

A Calming Kitchen with a Warm Heart

It’s often said that the heart of the home is the kitchen. This beautiful kitchen, located on the egde of the Cotswolds is centred around an impressive 1.5m wide Everhot electric range cooker.

This British made, highly-efficient heat source incorporates three ovens, split hot-plates, commercial grade three plate induction hob and infra red grill. Install this superb cooker and you’ll never want to move away from this georgeous room!

As a finishing touch, the customer opted for a single pane of antiqued, light cloud finish mirror. It’s easy to clean, reflects light and makes every kitchen feel even more spacious. A great choice!

Coastal Retreat

We always love a trip to the seaside. So when we were asked to design a kitchen in a white-washed thatched cottage overlooking a boatyard on the south coast, we were delighted!

The finished kitchen has a lovely cosy, cool feel to it, with lots of storage space in the tall cabinets, full-height fridge, built-under freezer, a great island unit to sit at and a mirrored dresser.
