NEWBURGH SPORTS HAVEN

Newburgh Sports Haven is an urban sports park located in the heart of Newburgh, NY. It was designed based off of the surrounding communities of Newburgh and the residents, with focus on the children of the area. The project and program include a variety of different activities from soccer, basketball, skateboarding, etc, where anyone can find something to enjoy.

BOOKER’S DWELLING Location: Phoenix, AZ Year: 2020 Undergraduate Design Studio 3 Category: Home Professor: Andreas Benzing

Located between the Sonoran desert and Phoenix, Booker’s Dwelling is a private oasis for the famous basketball player Devin Booker. The goal of the project is to provide a private and comfortable experience for the dweller, while still being able to maintain all the needs of an NBA player. The house is designed around his routine, as well as the harsh weather condition of the surrounding environment.

students get used to the process of drawing architectural drawings and model making. The task of this exercise is to create a space within a 12”x12”x12” cube, in which the human model can occupy in. Hence, I’ve created a miniture house with an entrance, windows and a stairway that takes the occupant from bottom to top.
